Welcome to my new Blog. It’s looking a little rough right now but I hoping in the next few days to fix it up and make it look nice. I’ve had other blogs on other platforms, but this one is taking some getting use to. But I’m hoping once I get things up and running everyone will enjoy my writing here. So let me introduce you to who I am and what I will be covering on this blog.

Who am I?

• I am a 32 year old stay at home mom , Grad student and freelance writer. I enjoy writing about topics and issues that I either find interesting or impact the world we live in.
• I am multiracial Native American,Black and White. I was raided my Black and Native mother and my Native grandmother. I’m also Genderfluid/ Two-Spirit and Bisexual. My pronouns are They/Them/Theirs most days but sometimes She/Her.
• I am a Leftist I have studied Marxism and Leninism. While I apply the their political science of dialectical materialism to my political work and understanding, I do not adhere or draw from Marx and Lenin alone. I also study the works of other Black, Indigenous and Queer activist and political thinkers.

In the coming weeks, I will be working out a schedule of the types of posts I will during the week. Since this is going to be a multi focus blog covering a variety of topics there will be days were I will talk about something currently happening in the news, and not do another blog post and there will be days where I do multiple post a day with articles to go along with the post.

Here are some of the subjects I will be writing about here on this blog:

• Politics: ( This topic will be one that will cover pretty much everything, even entertainment if I feel like something political needs to be addressed. But Politics can be anything from the 2020 presidential race to white fan being mad at the casting of black girl as Ariel in the upcoming Little Mermaid movie. That’s a lot of stuff to cover don’t be surprised if I talk about Immigration policies one day and then the next day talk about the environment. Again I’m not a “one topic” or “one issue” type of person.
• Parenting: I am a parent to a old year old. And sometimes I will write about our adventures or my feelings of being a stay at home working parent.
• Entertainment: Sometimes this topic will intersect with other topics, but for the most part it will be reviews, lists and thoughts about media. Movies, tv, books, art and music will be talked about. I’m a huge nerd/ geek
• Food: I love food and I love talking about culture and food… pretty much everything about food. Might share some cooking that I do with my kid stuff like that.
• Random stuff: I might just post random stuff some days like short stories and poems.
• Academic research : I will be turning my research into articles. But this will be a less frequent most likely once a month.

Well that’s it. This is who I am and this what This blog will be about. If I can make this work I hope that I can make this expand into something more within the next few months. In the coming months I am going to be looking into also creating a podcast and youtube channel .
